Rabo Liv Giant, the team that nearly never was. Following Rabobank’s shock announcement that they were withdrawing sponsorship from cycling the future of the team was in doubt. Whilst Rabobank had agreed to honour their existing contractual obligations the future looked far from certain. It then emerged that whilst withdrawing from cycling they still wanted to support Vos. Marianne showing her class again, made it clear that without the team there could be no support for her as an individual and the team Rabo-Liv-Giant was born.
