Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race 2019

That’s a wrap on this Australia trip, it feels like I’ve been away forever! When I woke up this morning, it was a relief to see the 40 degree temperatures from the day before had subsided, I even debated wearing a jacket on the moto ahead of the race! Still managed to get sunburnt though: the sun is crazy strong down here.

There wasn’t much to report from the race today. If it wasn’t for BePink’s multiple solo attacks it would have been ‘groupo compacto’ to the final climb.

It’s been a fun three weeks in Australia but I’m looking forward to swapping the summer sun for a little snow at home for a few weeks before the Euro season begins. (Although I may think differently when I get home on Monday afternoon!)
