Looking at the forecast yesterday I was convinced I was going to get drowned today. Even when dropping my car off at the finish in Waregem this morning and riding to the start, there were spots of rain and some very ominous looking black clouds on the horizon, but somehow we stayed dry!
The jersey of the winner may have been different but the winner was the same, as Ellen van Dijk defended her Dwars door Vlaanderen title. She’s going to have to get a stable for those podium ponies! 😉
That’s it, all the Flandrian dress rehearsals are done, all that’s left after today is the big one on Sunday!
