So that’s the Giro Rosa wrapped for another year. The Naples region has a bit of a reputation for crime so we were a little wary of walking around with expensive camera equipment hanging from our bodies before the stage. But there was nothing to fear. A local even brought me into a church to refill my water bottle! I don’t think it was holy water but I certainly felt blessed having more to drink in the hot conditions!
Thinking back over the last ten days the team time trial on stage one feels like a lifetime ago, yet the race passes by in a blur at the same time. Trying to recall what happened each day and in what order can be a real struggle! But Anna definitely won and Cille earned the white jersey! Congratulations to them and all the other winners over the last ten days.
The racing doesn’t stop here though! Balint is off to Germany in the morning for Thüringen Rundfahrt and we’ll meet up again in France in 10 days for La Course.

But don’t wait too long, if we don’t hit the target by 22nd July then the book won’t happen.
