Unreliable course directions are a major course of frustration at the Giro Rosa. The road book lacks sufficient detail and rarely match what is raced on the day. But today that worked in our favour. We were keen to cover the major climb but there was an element of jeopardy in making that decision…  could we make it to the finish in time? Fortunately the race took a different path to the one in the road book, leaving a clear route to the finish and we got there with 10 minutes to spare!

We’re both really happy for Sheyla winning today’s stage. It’s always great when someone wins who isn’t regularly on the podium, and even more so when it’s a team we work with. We’re clearly a lucky charm at the Giro, all four teams we’re working at the race have won a stage! 🙂 So for any teams looking for a win between now and Sunday, we’re available for hire! 😉

Have you checked out our Kickstarter campaign? We want to publish a book celebrating the women’s road cycling season. You can find out more here.

As you’ve made it this far you’ll definitely enjoy our women’s cycling photo book, but we need your help to make it happen. You can find out more and support the book on Kickstarter. We have a bunch of cool rewards including a copy of the book with your name in, a book and a wall calendar or even a photo shoot with us. But don’t wait too long, if we don’t hit the target by 22nd July then the book won’t happen.
