Giro Rosa 2017 Stage 8

A few days ago, I started my blogpost saying that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. We stayed in an awful B&B last night, but the dinner near Baronissi was probably our most memorable of our dinners so far. You win some, you lose some. Today’s tough bit was the heat (obviously) and the fact that Sean was stuck on the final climb of the day. He was supposed to be picked up, but it didn’t happen and we had make a detour that added an extra hour to our day.

And what is today’s win? A very nice guest house in the middle of nowhere, with a pool and a restaurant. I probably won’t have to explain why having a pool is awesome, but having an on-site restaurant is great because you don’t need to drive to a restaurant, which doesn’t eat into your precious downtime.

Eight down, two to go!

Have you checked out our Kickstarter campaign? We want to publish a book celebrating the women’s road cycling season. You can find out more here.

Back the Book

As you’ve made it this far you’ll definitely enjoy our women’s cycling photo book, but we need your help to make it happen. You can find out more and support the book on Kickstarter. We have a bunch of cool rewards including a copy of the book with your name in, a book and a wall calendar or even a photo shoot with us. But don’t wait too long, if we don’t hit the target by 22nd July then the book won’t happen.
