That’s the Ladies Tour of Norway done for another year. Do you know the last time there was a non-Dutch winner of a stage? Megan Guarnier won the final stage way back in 2017!
Shooting races where the course is very familiar from previous years is a bit of a double-edged sword: I know the roads and the good spots but equally, for my own sanity, I don’t want to shoot the same locations year after year. Some new locations worked today, some I was left thinking others were better from the previous years but it was a fun day in the sun to finish off the final stage of this Scandinavian trip.
It’s time to head home tomorrow for a couple of days before a busy few weeks with Plouay, Boels Ladies Tour and Madrid coming thick and fast.
Please check out our Kickstarter for The Road Book 2019, time is running out to make the book come to life! It’ll be a 240 page hardcover book of the 2019 women’s road cycling season featuring our favourite photos from the year alongside exclusive articles on key riders and themes from the season.
