Le Samyn des Dames 2018

After thinking the weekend was cold, today reset the benchmark on what a cold race is really like! At the start it was -5°C (23°F for American’s) add in the wind and it felt much colder. One of camera’s didn’t like it either. It started ‘glitching’, I had to take it inside for a while to defrost.

Looking down the start list this morning, I found my new favourite team, based on their name alone. ‘Loving Potatoes Team’ was a mix of Sunweb and a few Dutch riders. I was hoping their jersey would have a fries pattern or maybe a jacket potato but sadly the Sunweb riders wore their regular team kit.

Next up it’s a really big one! Strade Bianche is this Saturday!

These must be Marcella Toldi’s!
