Liége – Bastogne – Liége Femmes 2018

My first race on the moto today was actually not as bad as I had thought it was going to be. We were blessed with great weather and it all came together nicely. What I found really interesting was that riding the sportive the day before – and thus getting very familiar with the last 35km of the race – helped me a lot. Given the slower speeds, I remembered almost every nook and cranny on the course and knew exactly what was coming up. I guess riding every course is the way forward? I’m only kidding, but it was indeed very helpful.
