Trofeo Binda 2019

I’ve always found it interesting, looking for at people’s photos from races and observing how different people can see the same scene so differently. One isn’t necessarily better or worse than the other, just different. Turns out this doesn’t just apply to photo locations but entire races. There are some races both Balint and I love, and others that we both have at the bottom’s of our pile of races we’d like to cover when we allocated coverage of the race calendar. Trofeo Binda is rare in that it really divides opinion between us. Balint has covered Trofeo Binda most years, 2019 was only my second time at the race. Balint really likes the race and the terrain at Trofeo Binda, but to me, I just don’t see it. There’s nothing inherently wrong with it, it just doesn’t get me excited. I guess if everyone felt the same about everything the world would be a very boring place.

Next up Balint will be at De Panne on Thursday and I’ll be back in action next weekend at Gent Wevelgem, the start of a very big week of racing!
